Programme Areas

ARTH’s three programme areas of sexual and reproductive health, neonatal and child health, and health systems and policy form the foundation of work that the organisation has been pursuing since it’s inception in 1997. These three areas combine to create a comprehensive network where ARTH’s reach spans from a maternal-newborn-infant continuum of care to dialogue between ARTH and the state government regarding neonatal survival rates. In this way, ARTH is able to stay grounded in fieldwork and the current situation of it’s field areas, while also working to enact change on a higher level.
