At Urban health clinic and Paneriyo ki Bhagal&nbsp; Clinic, nurse midwives provide RCH services from 9 am to 5 pm 6 days a week with weekly visits by gynaecologists. At rural health clinics centres, nurse-midwives provide RCH services and emergency services round the clock. A gynaecologist visits the centres once a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RCH services provided at the health centres include :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>24\u00d77 delivery services and management\/ referral for maternal-newborn complications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IMNCI management for children and primary health care by nurse-midwives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safe abortion services (first trimester)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reversible methods of contraception<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gynaecological services, including infertility management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laboratory facilities to do basic investigations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ARTH\u2019s trained nurse-midwives use a Basic Model of Midwifery and provide a wide range of maternal-neonatal services and managing complications in the absence of a doctor.
