At Urban health clinic and Paneriyo ki Bhagal\u00a0 Clinic, nurse midwives provide RCH services from 9 am to 5 pm 6 days a week with weekly visits by gynaecologists. At rural health clinics centres, nurse-midwives provide RCH services and emergency services round the clock. A gynaecologist visits the centres once a week.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The RCH services provided at the health centres include :<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">24\u00d77 delivery services and management\/ referral for maternal-newborn complications<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IMNCI management for children and primary health care by nurse-midwives<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Safe abortion services (first trimester)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reversible methods of contraception<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gynaecological services, including infertility management<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Laboratory facilities to do basic investigations<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ARTH\u2019s trained nurse-midwives use a Basic Model of Midwifery and provide a wide range of maternal-neonatal services and managing complications in the absence of a doctor.
