The model has adapted WHO’s Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) framework, by supporting older persons to preserve six intrinsic capacities – mobility, nutrition, vision, hearing, cognition and mood. Village-level mutual support groups bring older persons together for group activities; ARTH’s field team conducts health and home safety assessments and supports access to medical care. Till date, the programme has reached over 13,000 older persons, with more than 6,000 receiving health and home safety assessments with a personalised health plan and steps to prevent falls. A short video on the programme is available here. For more information, contact us at arth@arth.in ."}
