Action Research & Training for Health (ARTH) ) is a public health organization based in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It pursues a research and technical assistance agenda focusing on reproductive health, child health and primary health systems. We are a professionally driven team led by doctors specialized in public health, gynecology and pediatrics. Position: Zonal Program Associates (3)
Location Ajmer, Bikaner and Bharatpur

For the past few years ARTH has collaborated with Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare Services, Government of Rajasthan, UNFPA and UNICEF, to promote evidence based delivery and newborn care practices within health facilities of the state, in order to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality. We require Zonal Programme Associates to carry out this work in selected zones of the state. The project will directly engage with National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) in the state by strengthening activities for improving maternal and newborn care across 33 districts.

Candidate's profile

Post-graduate degree, preferably in social science or discipline related to public health • Minimum three years of experience in health field. • A good grasp of health issues (RCH, public health), programmes /schemes and their current scenario at state and national level • Creative and analytical thinking • Ability to write official letters and e-mails in English and Hindi • Reporting and documentation skills • Willing to travel 15-20 days in a month • Good command over "Office" computer applications.
